Every summer for many years the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority has sponsored concerts on Erie's waterfront at Liberty Pier except for 2020 when the concerts were cancelled due to te co-vid pandemic. The concerts resumed in the summer of 2021 and we were there on This year during the August 3rd concert the SONS of Lake Erie participated in the event by offering a free hands on family fishing opportunity. Twenty five of our volunteers provided equipment, bait and their personal expertise to over 200 men, women and children who chose to participate.
