S.O.N.S. ICE OUT PARTY APRIL 10, 2011 |

Sixty
two volunteers that included our officers, directors, members and family
members pulled together to produce one of our best Ice Out Parties to
date. We had to overcome the logistics of a new venue for the party. Our
kitchen staff served over 1200 hot dogs along with gallons of Greek Sauce,
600 bags of Chips and pretzels, 20
lbs of onions and sauerkraut. Our beverage servers dispensed gallons and
gallons of beer and soft drinks. Our stage crew gave away hundreds of door
prizes. Our tip sellers sold tip boards on merchandise and money for four
hours straight. The Big Six wheel turned nearly continuously while others
sold Chinese Auction Raffle tickets and Instant Bingos. The
generosity of our door prize donors and suppliers all contributed to our
success. For this we offer our sincere gratitude to Smith Provision Co.,
Stroehman Bakeries, Erie Beer Co., Marusso Paper Co., Erie Waterworks,
Erie Sport Store, Presque Isle Bait and Tackle, BAC Bait and Tackle, Poor

John for supplying the Sound Equipment and the 62 members who worked so

also would like to thank our members who attended all of the shows at the
convention center and gun shows and sold thousands of dollars worth of
raffle tickets for our “Fin and Fur Raffle” which was held at the Ice
