Discover Presque Isle Family Fishing Clinic
July 27, 2019
On July 27, 2019 twenty two S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie volunteers conducted a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Sanctioned Family Fishing Clinic as part of the Discover Presque Isle celebration. 150 adults and 110 children came onto the fishing platform located on Waterworks pond on Presque Isle State Park. All of these visitors were invited to try their hand at fishing under the experienced guidance of the S.O..N.S. volunteers. The S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie has participated in the Discover Presque Isle event every year since the celebration began 27 years ago.
